Your project may benefit from one method of deployment over all others, or it may benefit from a cross-platform deployment, i.e. PC for office users and mobile devices for remote users; perhaps with a VR component for planning teams.

Spearhead Interactive have built relationships with more than 70 different hardware manufacturers across a range of technologies and we’ll confirm the access methods and features with you collaboratively during the project scoping stage; crafting the deliverables around the way the users will experience the solution up-front to ensure we deliver maximum value and impact across your aims and objectives.

As needed, we’ll procure hardware, complete setup, supply documentation and training, arrange hosting, and provide technical support alongside a range of additional managed services; so whether we’re working together to create a product, a service, a solution, or a platform, our end-to end approach has you covered.

Deployment

PC Software

PC software solutions and experiences are available to clients in a variety of options, including private, standalone software formats for internal use and public deployment, or web-enabled software for 3D content streaming and embedding onto websites and intranets.

Interactive software delivered through existing hardware is perfectly suited for a wide variety of enterprise applications.

Mobile Apps

With more than 8 billion smart devices in use world-wide, mobile apps are an effective way of visualising your products, processes and data.

The portable and interactive nature of the technology is ideal for connecting with current and prospective customers, enhancing your brand, improving operations or engaging with your workforce.

Virtual Reality

What is Virtual Reality?

Virtual Reality (VR) is a technology that uses a combination of both hardware and software to simulate a presence in replicated or imaginary environments that do not exist, cannot exist, or require significant operational resource and / or capital to exist.

A head-mounted display (HMD) is used to access VR environments. This HMD is sometimes connected to a PC, but can also be a standalone unit.

Additional hardware such as omni-directional treadmills, finger & body tracking systems, sensors and haptics can also be integrated to allow users to navigate, interact, sense and feel the objects, environments and experiences; increasing immersion, knowledge retention, empathy and much more.

We have coined this “the four senses of VR”.

The four Senses of vr:

  • Presence

A head-mounted display (HMD) is used to place the user inside of the virtual environment.

  • Navigation

An omni-directional treadmill is used to move around VR environments.

  • Interaction

VR controllers, gloves and other technologies allow users to interact with the software and control their experiences.

  • Stimulation

Haptic feedback suits and other devices are used to simulate real-world sensations.

Augmented Reality

What is augmented Reality?

Augmented Reality (AR) allows us to enrich the real world with media, data and information; “augmenting” and enhancing the existing physical environment with additional contextual features.

Mobile devices such as smart-phones and tablets are commonly used to access Augmented Reality content, as well as a growing range of head-sets. Typically no additional hardware is needed.

AR is a technology that exists as a digital juxtaposition with our real-world as it does not change our reality, but adds additional overlay on to it.

Numerous sectors are exploring the applications for Augmented Reality due to the immense opportunities offered by the technology.

Mixed Reality

What is MIXED Reality?

Mixed Reality (MR) merges elements of the real and the virtual to create new worlds and environments where physical and digital objects interact.

Where Augmented Reality provides additional information to existing real-world elements in context, Mixed Reality allows us to place virtual objects into physical spaces and set up customised interactions – whether scripted (pre-determined) or triggered to react in real-time to specific parameters.

Using Mixed Reality, we can also interact with virtual models and objects as if they are real by anchoring them to a specific spatial position in the real world.

Wearables

Wearable software solutions and experiences provide an innovative and new way to transform your ways of working and your processes.

The hands-free nature of wearable hardware provides new opportuinities across multiple areas of business and operations, from the production line to the warehouse and the showroom.
